NEW conversion kit to convert a Emperor weight driven (mechanical) model 100/100M/101M grandfather clock over to quartz/battery power.  This kit includes a quality chiming quartz clock movement with full 4/4 Westminster chimes just like the mechanical movement.  This movement plays the ascending Westminster melody every 1/4 hour, plays the full melody on the hour and then counts the hour after the melody plays, just like the mechanical movement.  The movement has tubular bell type chimes.  The movement can also be set to turn off between 11:00 at night and then begin chiming again at 6:00 am, or it can be set to play around the clock.  Ave Maria chimes are also an option with this movement.  The quartz movement comes with all hardware to mount the movement to the back of your existing dial and a set of 4" serpentine style hands.

This kit comes with a separate pendulum drive unit which will drive your original pendulum.  The pendulum drive unit measures 8 1/4" overall length, 3" wide, and 2 1/8" overall depth.  This unit comes with a separate battery holder.  The drive unit will need to be mounted separately from the above clock movement, typically inside the case on the back side, up out of the line of sight from the front.  A pendulum hook is supplied with the kit that will need to be installed on your existing pendulum so that your pendulum hangs correctly.

IMPORTANT!! PLEASE NOTE!!  IF YOU HAVE A WORKING MOON DIAL ON YOUR CLOCK DIAL, THIS CONVERSION KIT DOES NOT SUPPORT THE MOON DIAL - THE MOON DIAL WILL NO LONGER FUNCTION.

1 year warranty on both units.  KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!

PLEASE NOTE!!  THIS CONVERSION REQUIRES THAT YOU REMOVE YOUR EXISTING MECHANICAL MOVEMENT AND MOUNT YOUR EXISTING DIAL TO YOUR CLOCK CASE FRAME, SINCE THE DIAL IS ORIGINALLY ATTACHED TO THE MECHANICAL MOVEMENT.
