Heavy-Duty Grandfather Clock Pendulum Drive Unit for Battery Power

This heavy-duty grandfather clock pendulum drive unit is designed to convert traditional mechanical pendulum clocks to battery-powered pendulum operation. It is powerful enough to drive everything from smaller grandmother clocks up to full-size grandfather clock pendulums, while allowing you to use a separate movement for timekeeping and chimes.

The unit operates on a single D-cell battery (not included) and features pre-drilled mounting holes for straightforward installation inside your clock case. It is capable of driving pendulums up to 42 inches in length with bobs up to 10 1/2 inches in diameter, making it ideal for large, heavy pendulums.

This drive unit is commonly used when converting mechanical clocks to quartz timekeeping while retaining the traditional swinging pendulum motion.

Please note: This unit drives the pendulum only. For timekeeping and/or chimes, you will need to use a separate movement. Please contact us for recommendations.
