Emperor Model 100 / 100M / 101M Grandfather Clock Quartz Battery Conversion Kit – Westminster Chime

Convert your Emperor Model 100, 100M, or 101M grandfather clock from mechanical weight-driven power to a quartz/battery-powered movement. This complete conversion kit includes a high-quality chiming quartz movement with tubular bell chime that plays full 4/4 Westminster chimes—ascending quarter-hour melody, full hourly chime, plus hour strike—just like the original mechanical movement.

The movement also features optional night shutoff (11 PM–6 AM) and a selectable Ave Maria chime. A set of 4" serpentine-style hands and all required mounting hardware are included.

This kit also includes a separate pendulum drive unit designed to power your original pendulum. The unit measures 8 1/4" long, 3" wide, and 2 1/8" deep, with a separate battery holder and a supplied pendulum hook for proper hanging. The pendulum drive installs inside the case, typically behind the dial.

Important Compatibility Notes

• Moon dial support: If your clock has a functional moon dial, this conversion kit does not support it.

• Mechanical movement removal required: You must remove your existing mechanical movement and mount your original dial to the case frame.

Includes a 1-year warranty on both the chiming movement and pendulum drive.
