Quartz Pendulum Clock Movement with Mechanical Bim-Bam Strike

This quartz pendulum clock movement with mechanical bim-bam strike combines the classic sound of a mechanical clock with the reliability and low maintenance of quartz timekeeping. The movement strikes on the hour using two tuned copper rods mounted in a cast iron block, producing an authentic bim-bam tone similar to traditional mechanical movements.

Designed as an updated replacement for popular Takane/Rhythm-style movements, this unit delivers the same sound and operation in a slightly revised size. Please review the dimensions carefully to ensure proper fit.

The movement can operate with or without a pendulum and includes a chime silencer for added convenience. A full pendulum assembly and hands are included, making this an excellent choice for restorations, conversions, or custom clock builds.

This kit includes the quartz bim-bam strike clock movement, a set of black serpentine-style hands (4 1/8" in length from center hole to tip of minute hand), 16" pendulum with 2 3/4" bob, all required mounting hardware. Please note that the pendulum can be shortened in 1" increments down to about 5".

Please note: This unit is the updated version of the popular Takane/Rhythm clock movements that look and function similarly. This unit sounds the same, but the size is slightly different. Please check the dimensions to confirm this will fit in your space.
